2020 ACL Final Chase Updates

The 2020 ACL Final Chase is the fourth and final ACL National of the 2020 Johnsonville Cornhole Championships. The second and third ACL Nationals (Cornhole Mania and Bag Brawl) were cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus. The ACL has been in close contact with the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (host of the Final Chase), as well as government officials in the area to assure that the event can happen in a safe manner. Based on the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 ACL Final Chase will only be open to ACL Pros. Government officials that oversee the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center approved a maximum capacity of 250 people at the event. Given the anticipated attendance of 200 ACL Pros and approximately 30 staff members and production crew personnel, the event will not be open to non-pro players or spectators.

In addition to the play cap, the following safety measures, similar to the ACL Pro Qualifying tour, will be in place:

  • Players will be wearing face coverings at all times
  • Players will be screened as they enter the facility
  • The event will not be open to spectators
  • Social distancing protocols will be required by all players and staff
  • Post-game handshakes are forbidden

A schedule for play will be released by the end of the week. Both the ACL Pro Invitational and the ACL Final Chase will air during this weekend of play.
