Six-Year-Old Trevor Caballero Calls Out Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes To A Cornole Showdown

And though he be but little, he is fierce. Trevor Caballero might only be six years old, but he is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. He made that clear to NFL Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes when he challenged him to the face-off we never knew we needed.

If you’ve been living under a rock lately, Mahomes starred in the greatest commercial ever created (shout out to State Farm) where he sinks some sick trickshots all while talking to  * the * Jake from State Farm.

Naturally, we were all starstruck that our little sport was getting so much attention, but Trevor saw an opportunity. Longtime Mahomes fan, he decided to challenge the football player to a friendly game of cornhole, betting he could “one-up him.” He proposed a meeting in “Jacksonville, Kansas City, anywhere” because like a good neighbor, he’d be there.

Trevor’s video was originally posted on his personal instagram account, plus his representing agency’s account, Pressure Sports Group. We also shared the challenge on our social media accounts to support his efforts which are seeming to pay off.

His story was picked up by local news outlets KMBC Kansas City, KENS5 San Antonio, and FOX4 Kansas City, plus Patrick Mahomes shared the video on his Instagram Story saying, “Dawg Gone kid is an animal.” Trevor was later interviewed by SportsCenter for the Feel Good Friday segment on November 20.

Trevor started playing cornhole in 2019, making history early on after becoming the youngest person to ever win an ACL sanctioned tournament at the ripe old age of five. If we were Mahomes, we’d be scared too.

At this time, there are no reports of Mahomes accepting or rejecting participation in the challenge. Once a response is received, we will update this article. Until then, continue to share his video on Facebook and Instagram to help us bring this cornhole showdown to life.
